Home is where the Cookies are

Anybody who has flown on a long cross country with me knows I have a weak spot in any FBO. Chocolate Chip Cookies. Most FBOs have the classic, run-of-the-mill snacks for traveling pilots whether they are complimentary or in a vending machine. Coffee is a bare-minimum requirement for an FBO and most have quality coffee machines for exhausted pilots. But one treat can separate any FBO for me that might tip the scale on making the choice to stop there if all things are equal…it’s if they have chocolate chip cookies.

This blog is intended to track the quality of the cookies I encounter along my travels at FBOs across the country. It’s all in good fun and overall tastiness. If you love chocolate chip cookies as much as I do - then try to stop by at these FBOs!

Shameless Plug time. My wife wrote a childrens book about how to make cookies! It’s about our son and his grandma who make a batch of chocolate chip cookies together. Her mom is a master baker and our son loves to help her make her baked treats!
